Supperclub Tube is back with a new seasonal menu
Supperclub.Tube has launched a new fantastic six-course Latin American-inspired menu for Autumn/Winter. Crafted by head chef Beatriz Maldonado (Bea to her friends).
Located at the Walthamstow Pumphouse Museum, E17, aboard a vintage 1967 Victoria Line carriage – the UK’s only dine-in tube. Visitors can expect nostalgic charm combined with gourmet cuisine, a touch of glamour, delicious drinks and first-class service.
Showcasing Bea’s homeland with culinary traditions from Colombia, combined with British cooking techniques and seasonal produce, the delicious menu will be changing from October.
Diners can look forward to dishes such as Tamal de Muerto – blue corn dumpling, sweetcorn and butternut squash salsa, guajillo sauce, Lancashire cheese; Ceviche Nikkei de Atun – a Tuna dish referring to the fusion between Peruvian and Japanese cuisines which happened with the arrival of Japanese immigrants at the end of the 19th century; Ajiaco – Corn fed chicken breast, yellow corn, capers, dauphinoise potatoes, avocado and guasca sauce, inspired by Bea’s favourite lunch at her Grandparents house; all rounded off with a modern take on the traditional Churros.
All this amazing food is paired beautifully with a collection of expertly selected South American wines and bespoke cocktails. A carefully curated set list, low lighting, crisp tablecloths and iconic TFL Moquette seating create a relaxed vibe reminiscent of days gone by.
The space is open weekly from Thursday – Saturday with the six-course social dining experience starting at £67 per person, with Vegetarian and Vegan choices upon request. There are various seating options available, including a large communal table and intimate private tables. Perfect for date night or a celebration with friends.
