The BackStage Bar at The Rialto is reopening with a new line up of events

The Backstage Bar is back with a bang and to celebrate its reopening the venue has revealed a new line up of events and entertainment that will offer something for everyone to enjoy, seven days a week.

Tucked away within the Grosvenor Casino, The Rialto in the heart of London’s West End, the Backstage Bar takes guests back to the 1920s with its awe-inspiring Art Deco architecture and glamourous furnishings, whilst offering an enticing mix of entertainment options, including cocktail nights, DJ sessions, drag shows and bottomless brunches.

Mark Crockett, General Manager at The Rialto, said: “Now that we’re open and ready to welcome guests back to The Backstage Bar, we think guests will love the entertainment and experiences that we are running, with bookings available from June 2nd.

“There really is something for everyone and robust health and safety measures will be in place for our guests and team members to enjoy a truly fabulous West End experience.”

Event schedule from Wednesday 2nd June:

On Mondays, guests can get 2 for 1 on cocktails from 4pm to 4am.

Jazz and Gin enthusiasts will love Tuesdays at The Backstage Bar, running from 4pm – 4am this Jazz themed night will serenade the senses and offer 50% off all Gin drinks.

Magic will be in the air on Wednesdays from 8pm – 11pm as The Backstage Bar hosts an Evening of Wonders, with some of London’s best magicians dazzling guests with impossible tricks that defy logic and capture the imagination.

Every Thursday from 9pm – 11pm, The Backstage Bar will host Miss Vicki Vivacious, a fabulous, energetic, and hilarious drag show act that will give all guests something to cheer and laugh about.

On Fridays from 11pm – 3am, guests at The Backstage Bar can dance the night away with DJ Dot – Dash and his throwback to the 90s sounds full of groove, house and techno music.

On Saturday from 9pm – 3am, DJ Sarah Clark will provide the soundtrack to the weekend for guests, as they raise a glass to restrictions being eased.

On Sunday Bottomless Prosecco and entertainment will be the cards from the talented West End singer Paul Baker, at the venue’s Sunday brunch running from 4pm-6pm.

As well as offering guests a variety of late-night entertainment, the Backstage Bar is also open during the day and can be hired out as a professional meeting space. On top of this, customers can and head down to the casino to try their luck at the gaming tables, while enjoying a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere.

Arriving at the casino, all customers will be registered at reception before using the hand sanitiser which will be readily available, whilst regular cleaning will take place each day, including tables, chips and machines.

Every casino will make screens available for customers to use on gaming tables and electronic machines, should they wish. There will also be restrictions on the number of people who can play games at any one time to ensure social distancing guidelines are adhered to.
