The Battersea Arts Centre and Young Vic Theatre's Young Producers to wow in local festival - London TV

The Battersea Arts Centre and Young Vic Theatre’s Young Producers to wow in local festival

On 6 April, the Battersea Arts Centre and Young Vic Theatre’s Young Producers will be taking over the building, delivering a packed programme as part of the Homegrown Festival: Occupy and the LDN City Takeover.
OCCUPY Party brings  music, dance, spoken word, theatre and installations from the most exciting emerging artists and companies from across the city.
When curating this event, our goal as Young Producers was to provide a platform for artists and companies to express themselves and share unique stories and experiences from young and underrepresented voices.
The Battersea Arts Centre and Young Vic Theatre’s Young Producers 2019 are the diverse creative team of 19–29 year olds behind OCCUPY Party. With support from BAC, the Young Producers are learning about everything it takes to be effective producers in the arts and for many in the team, OCCUPY Party will be the first time they have curated an event.
The Young Producers are:
Aoife O’Doherty, Ben Monk, Bianca Rawlinson, Coral Knights, Davida Afriyie, Dennis Dogan, Flora MacKeddie, Halima Hassan, Henry Kamwenje, Intisar Yusuf, Jacob Roberts-Mensah, Jessica Rahman-Gonzalez, Kc Gardiner, Naying Ren, Oli Smith, Qansa Omar, Ruth Sparkes, Samuel Jones, Sandy Abdelrahman, Tashan Nicholas.
