The Breakfast Club Joins Forces With Tony’s Chocolonely for THREE Pancake Day Specials
This month, The Breakfast Club has teamed up with impact chocolate brand, Tony’s Chocolonely, for a crazy about chocolate collaboration which will see the pair release limited-edition menu items in celebration of Pancake Day (13th February).
The two brands, both of which are known for their ethical values, share a mission to make the world a better place. From The Breakfast Club’s ongoing work with the elderly community, including their partnership with Age UK and their regular social events held for local community groups inside their cafs, to Tony’s commitment to putting impact alongside profit, with a vision to make chocolate 100% slave free. Not just their own chocolate, but all chocolate worldwide.
Renowned for the All American Pancake Stack and their Pancakes, Cream & Berries plates, the specials, which will be available in all of The Breakfast Club cafs between 13th-29th February, are inspired by Tony’s famous chocolate bars, using elements from Tony’s Milk Chocolate Salted Caramel bar and Tony’s White Strawberry Cheesecake & White Raspberry Chocolate Popping Candy bar as the foundation of the pancake flavours.
The Bacon & Banana Chocolate Extravaganza, inspired by Tony’s Milk Chocolate Salted Caramel bar, sees locally world-famous pancakes topped with caramelised banana, candied bacon (Veggie option available), vanilla cream, drizzled with a salted caramel Tony’s chocolate sauce & topped with crumbled Tony’s salted caramel chocolate chunks.
The Phantom Raspberry Blower Of Old London Town is inspired by Tony’s Strawberry Cheesecake & Raspberry White Chocolate bar. Fresh raspberry pancakes, with a berry ripple cheesecake mix, topped with raspberry cream & coulis, melted Tony’s white chocolate and finished with fresh strawberries & raspberries.
The Kids Mini Pancake Platter is a ‘build your own’ mini pancake platter with two locally world famous kid pancakes, raspberry cream topped with Hundreds & Thousands, fresh strawberries, popping candy, chocolate sauce & marshmallows.
This Pancake Day will also see the return of The Breakfast Club’s Pancake Challenge £20, which will see participants eat 12 ‘locally world famous’ pancakes in 12 minutes and all challengers will receive a limited edition Tony’s x TBC Chocolonely Bar. The time to beat is 3 minutes and 47 seconds and if completed, it’s complimentary, otherwise, diners are encouraged to donate £20 which will help support their local community get-togethers.
The Breakfast Club cafs will serve the specials from 13th – 29th February, priced at £14 with the Kids Special priced at £5. The ‘Pancake Challenge £20’ is exclusively running on Tuesday 13th February and all cafs are open from 8am until at least 8pm on Pancake Day.
