British independent brand The Camden Watch Company (www.camdenwatchcompany.com), founded by wife and husband team Anneke Short and Jerome Robert in 2014, has formed a partnership with the Cutty Sark and the Royal Observatory to sell their GMT unisex timepieces, including their special edition Greenwich GMT timepiece, in their gift shops.

The GMT timepieces, sold online on The Camden Watch Company site as well as their Greenwich Market and Camden stores, are now available at the historical tourist attraction sites. The special edition Greenwich GMT timepiece, not available online and previously has only been available in the company’s Greenwich Market store, will also be available to buy in the Cutty Sark and Royal Observatory. The No.27 GMT edition is an homage to the rich maritime history of Greenwich and Great Britain in general. In 1880, Greenwich Mean Time become the legal standard time across the island of Great Britain and has since become the time upon which all other timezones across the globe are based.

The dial features a high gloss finish reminiscent of the enamel dials found on old maritime clocks and pocket watches, which, together with the high contrast printing, ensures that the watch not only looks great but is also easy to read.
