The Enchanted Spine, the online-only independent bookshop dedicated to romantasy, will welcome readers in person for the first time this autumn with a three-day pop-up in Camden, running from Tuesday 27 to Saturday 31 October 2026.

The Enchanted Spine was named one of The Bookseller’s Bookshop Heroes in 2025, the only online-only bookshop among them. It has built a devoted following of romantasy readers across the UK without ever having a physical shopfront. The pop-up at 5 Pratt St, a short walk from the Camden Town Station, will give that community a place to browse, shop and meet one another in person.

The shop will offer a carefully curated selection of romantasy, special editions, bookish gifts and bundles, as well as A Book Chosen by Fate, The Enchanted Spine’s signature mystery book. With the final day of the pop-up falling on Halloween, there will also be suitably dark and magical touches throughout the shop, with further details to be announced ahead of opening.

Romantasy has developed a passionate readership that discovers, discusses and champions books together online. The Enchanted Spine was built for that community and connects with it through The Enchanted Crate subscription service, The Bound book club, and regular live bookselling on TikTok.
