On Thursday 29th May 2025, the Battersea Bookshop at Battersea Power Station will host an inspiring evening with energy healer and author Nieve Tierney to discuss her debut release, The Fashion Oracle, a beautifully illustrated book, which is like tarot but for fashion!

The calming and confidence-boosting workshop will explore how fashion can become a daily ritual of self-expression and empowerment. The evening will include an in-conversation with Nieve, a group energy healing meditation and a Q&A.

Nieve’s work is rooted in the belief that we’re all energetic beings and the more we understand our frequency, the more empowered we can become! With new research commissioned by Battersea Power Station revealing that two thirds of people living in the UK (66%) style themselves for confidence and empowerment, this workshop aims to equip attendees with practical fashion rituals to take home.

From 12th May to 31st May, Battersea Power Station is hosting a series of events and in-store activations with fashion and beauty brands as part of its Radiant Reflections campaign. The activations will encourage shoppers to celebrate themselves and their reflection, as new research from the riverside neighbourhood revealed that 1 in 2 (47%) of people living in the UK find looking at themselves in the mirror while trying on clothes a difficult experience.
