The Flamenco Festival returns with some of the finest talent from Spain

The Flamenco Festival returns with some of the finest talent from Spain kicking up a storm, celebrating 20 years of passion with its biggest ever programme of dance and music across two weeks this summer. Bringing a slice of Spanish culture to London with its trademark brilliance – it will leave you shouting ¡olé!

Opening the festival is Queen of flamenco and Olivier Award-winner Sara Baras with a tribute to the flamenco guitar virtuoso, Paco de Lucía. Embrace desire and fantasy with Manuel Liñán and his trademark subversive brilliance, and take an authentic and elegant flamenco journey with Mercedes Ruiz and guitarist Santiago Lara. Farruquito is joined on stage by his son, El Moreno, to share in the family legacy with an endearing and captivating performance.

For the first time at Sadler’s Wells East join Estévez y Paños, as they celebrate the union of tradition and vanguard and the convergence of body and soul, past and present.

Finally, Ballet Flamenco de Andalucía brings Federico García Lorca dramatic play to life in Pineda. A narrative flamenco ballet that follows the tragic and true tale of Mariana Pineda.
