This summer, London’s iconic luxury hotel The Goring will once again welcome back its beloved mascot Teddy the Shetland. On Sunday 21st July and Sunday 4th August, guests who have booked overnight stays at the hotel will have the exclusive opportunity to have a VIP audience with Teddy, the country’s most loved pony, in The Goring’s private garden late Sunday morning.

The Teddy the Shetland x The Goring overnight package includes an overnight stay in one of The Goring’s luxurious suites on the Saturday prior to Teddy’s arrival, breakfast in the The Dining Room – the Michelin-starred restaurant at The Goring which has just reopened following a multi-million pound makeover – and, of course, endless private photo opportunities and cuddles with Teddy! Guests will also be gifted a cherished Teddy memento to take home.

Teddy, the internationally loved and Instagram-famous Shetland pony, has fans all over the world, and his platform, @teddytheshetland, now has over 176K followers. He is also, very importantly, a member of the Goring family – and is cared for by CEO Jeremy Goring’s cousins, Alice and Molly Goring. As the only five-star luxury hotel in London that is owned and run by the family that built it, The Goring remains a family affair with a pony in residence that is part of its tribe.
