THE HARE & BILLET IN BLACKHEATH REOPENS FOLLOWING AN EXCITING REFURBISHMENT

Award winning pub, The Hare & Billet in Blackheath is set to reopen its doors on the 19 August following a refurbishment, designed to add charm and character to the popular country style pub.

As part of the renovation, the interior of the pub has been redecorated to bring the venue back to life and enhance the existing traditional style. Warm timber tones and textured weaves have been added to existing furniture to create a softer and more snug mood to drinking areas.

The focal point of The Hare & Billet is the main bar, known for stocking the largest collection of ales in Blackheath. Thanks to the renovation, the bar has been upgraded with a stunning timber construction to better display the ales, wines, and spirits on offer.

New wall art has been added throughout, including new portraits in the drinking and dining areas as well as a new dog photo wall display, further adding to the unique charm of the pub.

Natalia Farinati, General Manager of The Hare & Billet said: “The Hare & Billet is a celebration of everything that makes a pub great. From the cosy atmosphere to stunning food and drink, we’ve got it all. The team have been working hard on the renovation and are incredibly excited to welcome our guests back when we reopen.”

Michael Horan, Managing Director of the Metropolitan Pub Company, added: “The refurbishment of The Hare & Billet is the latest stage of a capex investment project following the COVID-19 pandemic.
“The investment is designed to grow the business both in London and throughout the rest of the UK through new site acquisitions and renovations on our existing properties. We’re delighted to be able to continue our growth and are excited to see what the next few years brings.”
