The Hawk’s Nest is a hidden outside festive woodland housed in a converted railway arch and goods yard and has a lot of exciting things planned for the festive season. The venue is completely sheltered and warmed up with outdoor heaters, adding to the cosy ambience.

The Hawk’s Nest are launching a Christmas Market every Sunday in December from 12pm to 6pm with a host of great brands selling an assortment of lovely affordable gifts all making the perfect presents for friends and family. Products on offer will range from scented candles to jewellery and other fun accessories.

Brands like “By Olive” Tableware, Kitty Joyas Jewelry and ILEX Studio will be selling their Avocado and Acorn vases alongside El Rayo Tequila bottles. Each Sunday there will be an art show under the railway with young local artists selling affordable artworks, prints and Christmas cards. For those who want to come and simply browse and soak up the festive cheer, delicious freshly baked goods and artisan coffee will be available.

Guests are invited to warm their cockles and get merry on everyone’s favourite Mulled wine and Mulled cider. A host of new Christmas cocktails will feature including a Gingerbread Old Fashioned with a homemade gingerbread caramel twirl and aged Scotch whiskey and a Sloe Gin Hot Toddy. The food menu focuses on gourmet sourdough pizzas from the bespoke Gozney pizza oven with a brand new Christmas version taking centre stage topped with slow cooked spiced duck and cranberry pizza.

From 6pm each Sunday there will be Christmas carols hosted by MC and comedian Jamie Allerton and a special quiz will take place on Tuesday 21st December. Margarita Mondays will continue to run which includes a classic pizza and a selected cocktail for only £12.50. still running and Bloody Mary and Bacon baps for £10 every weekend.

There will be wreath making classes taking place on 24th November and 1st December – the perfect activity to get you in the festive mood.
