The Libertine Launches British Pie Week Collection in Collaboration with Lisa Goodwin-Allen

The Libertine London is launching a limited National Pie Week range in partnership with Lisa Goodwin-Allen, renowned Head Chef at Michelin-starred Lancashire restaurant Northcote.

An indulgent restaurant and bar in the heart of the City, The Libertine London is located in underground vaults beneath the Royal Exchange, where the very first royal alcohol license in Britain was granted. The establishment is committed to celebrating the best of British dining and recently launched a series of supper clubs to spotlight different culinary regions.

To continue this celebration, this very British pie collaboration will launch in partnership with Leffe Beer for British Pie Week (3rd – 9th March) and will feature three fabulous pies created by Goodwin-Allen, who has years of experience creating dishes with the highest quality locally sourced ingredients.

The Libertine London British Pie Week range will consist of:
– Traditional Lancastrian Brown Butter Pie with Brown Sauce
– Native Lobster Pie
– Chicken Turnover Pie

The menu brings together a shared appreciation of and commitment to the best of British produce and the pieces will be on the Libertine London menus throughout the month of March. Guests can sample the limited dishes alongside the Libertine’s delicious a la carte menu featuring signatures like the King Prawn and Lobster Roll and Libertine Caesar. The Libertine also has a fantastic drink menu with cocktails like the Champagne Float (complete with a scoop or lemon sorbet), as well as Leffe’s abbey brewed Belgian beer, which pairs perfectly with the hearty British Pie range.

Lisa Goodwin-Allen has been working at Northcote since she was just 20 years old. She gained recognition for her modern take on classic British cuisine and championing of locally sourced ingredients. Goodwin has appeared on TV shows like Great British Menu and Saturday Kitchen.
