THE LONDON DUNGEON UNVEILS ALTERNATIVE HALLOWEEN JACKASS-O’-LANTERN DISPLAY
The London Dungeon has today unveiled its new alternative Halloween display, filled with the grimacing and ghoulish faces of some of the UK’s most controversial celebrities carved onto glowing pumpkins.
The tongue in cheek Jackass-O-Lanterns display features Prince Andrew, Piers Morgan, Katie Hopkins, Stephen Bear and Laurence Fox, all well-known personalities you wouldn’t want to bump into whilst trick or treating. And, who wouldn’t share their haul with you if you did!
The display, designed to give visitors a scare of a different kind, is on show in the Southbank attraction over Halloween. And London Dungeon fans can get a behind the scenes look at how the pumpkin portraits were carved on the attraction’s social channels.
A London Dungeon spokesperson said: “We wanted to bring a different type of fright to the London Dungeon this Halloween, so we’ve created a display designed to realise many people’s deepest fears… coming face to face with the likes of Prince Andrew and Piers Morgan this Halloween. Is there anything scarier than that? Not much that we can think of!”
With 19 shows and thrilling rides, the London Dungeon promises to bring the city’s dark history to life delivering ample scream-drenched stories and fear-inducing shocks for an experience that you’ll never forget.
The screams won’t stop there either, as the London Dungeon has launched its truly terrifying new Halloween show The Surgeon, that deep dives into the devilish practice of surgery in the Victorian era and runs until the 31 October 2021 and is included within the standard ticket price.
