The Orientalist – the award-winning all-Asian spirits brand served across some of the world’s best bars and restaurants – marks its arrival in the UK with ORIENT YOURSELF, a one-night-only takeover at The Aubrey.

ORIENT YOURSELF invites guests to embark on a six-stop journey across Asia, conducted by mixologists from some of Asia-Pacific’s most prestigious bars.

The immersive celebration, guided by acclaimed international bartenders including Millie Tang and Holly Graham, will see leading bar talent from Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, South Korea, Thailand and Taiwan perform side by side in rotating guest shifts. Each represents a different city – and a distinct philosophy of modern Asian hospitality – translating that perspective into signature cocktails shaped by their individual take on Asian culture, craft and contemporary expression.

Set within the opulent, transportive rooms of The Aubrey at Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London, the event will spotlight The Orientalist’s portfolio of spirits, crafted for top-tier hospitality and balancing elegance with an unexpected edge by drawing ingredients, aromatics and inspiration from across Asia.

The evening will be structured around timed guest slots rather than a fixed menu, offering the chance to see six renowned mixologists in action across three 90-minute shifts. In total, 12 unique cocktails will be served – each only available during the relevant bartender’s set. A set from London-based DJ Norsicaa runs throughout, soundtracking the handovers with Asian funk, soul and disco.

Cocktails will be priced exclusively at £16 for one night only. Entry is walk-in, subject to capacity. Guests are advised to arrive early if they have a specific bar slot in mind.
