The Sidemen could be Christmas Number one as their odds enter straight in at 10-1

British YouTube group, the sidemen have officially entered the race for Christmas number 1 after their odds start off at 10-1 on William Hill.

The festive song came as part of one of the group’s much-loved challenge videos as half of them had £100 and the others were given £100,000 to create a Christmas song.

It comes as no surprise that the large-scale budget has the highest chance of being crowned this year’s Christmas number 1. ‘Christmas drillings’ sung by KSL, Vikstar and Tobi featuring grime artist JME.

They are taking on fellow YouTuber LadBaby who currently has four Christmas number ones under his belt and is looking to secure a fifth.

If LadBaby achieves Christmas Number one this year it will make him the person with the most number ones ever in history as he is currently tied at four with The Beatles.

They aren’t the only ‘wildcards’ in the race for Christmas number one as a few other peculiar names are among the mix such as heavyweight boxer Tyson Fury and comedian Jason Manford, both of who have released songs for charity this year.

Another song with a good chance of taking home the title Three Lions by Baddiel, Skinner and the Lightning seed, with the World Cup taking place during the run-up to Christmas and England due to take on France in the quarterfinals the performance of the team could see the chances of securing Christmas Number one skyrocket.
