GROUPS can climb high in London as the warmer weather arrives, as the capital’s highest roof walk gets set for its first summer.
Summit Ally Pally is London’s most exciting new attraction and offers visitors the chance to walk the roof of the iconic Alexandra Palace in a unique new adventure.
This fully-guided, one-of-a-kind experience gives visitors the opportunity to enjoy a guided tour of a Victorian palace, connecting with more than 150-years of history – and take in uninterrupted panoramic views stretching 25-miles across the capital.
Summit Ally Pally opened to the public in February and along with welcoming individuals and families, is open to group visits.
These can include tourist and travel groups, corporate and team-building parties, clubs, associations and other organisations. Summit also offers bespoke educational climbs for schools and youth groups.
Open to anyone over the age of eight years old, Summit Ally Pally can accommodate groups of up to 12 people and is open each week from Friday through to Sunday, along with Bank Holidays and throughout all the main school holidays.
Andy Broad, Managing Director at Wire & Sky which operates Summit, said: “Summit Ally Pally is a unique attraction and we have something very special which we want everyone to be able to experience.
“A group climb is a fantastic way to see London and Alexandra Palace, one of the city’s most iconic buildings, from a completely new perspective. This makes it the ideal choice for travel organisers or anyone who may be bringing a group to the capital.
“Summit Ally Pally is accessible to most people and we welcome children over the age of eight. We’ve had a very good first few months since opening and now we are looking forward to welcoming more new visitors and introducing them to London’s most exciting new attraction.”
Adult admission starts at just £28pp and youths from £22pp and there are several options and times to climb available:
Standard Climbs: For wide open views across the city during the day.
Sunset: Embrace golden hour and experience the sun setting over London.
London Lights: Watch the sunlight drop and London light up with a dazzling night-time panorama.
