The women behind Two Chicks launch FFE – Future Female Entrepreneur

Following the success of The Two Chicks Empowerment Fund (via which 10% of Two Chicks’ profits is dedicated to supporting girls and young women achieve their potential), the two female founders of Britain’s best-known egg-white brand have now gone on to establish FFE – Future Female Entrepreneur.

As two successful businesswomen who have come through the state educational system and found business advice lacking when they were growing up, Alla Ouvarova and Anna Richey are committed to inspiring the next generation of female entrepreneurs.

What is Future Female Entrepreneur (FFE)?

An opportunity for young women (ages 18-24) to spend time with an established female entrepreneur at the business she has created and leads.

Future Female Entrepreneur launched on 15th June at a special event for successful applicants, and FFE week began on 20th June when aspiring female entrepreneurs were hosted by a successful female entrepreneur at her business to experience some of their working day.

The aspiring young entrepreneur experienced half a day in the life – with access all areas – of a successful female business founder, benefitting from one-to one guidance and advice from them regarding their own business goals. The female founders planned days that provided exposure and unique insight into the running of their businesses. They also dedicated an hour of their day to discuss any business plans or ideas her FFE participant wanted to share.

In the afternoon, the FFEs regrouped at the Two Chicks HQ, where Anna and Alla ran workshops. Delivered by professionals, each workshop was created to help develop entrepreneurial skills, knowledge and confidence.

A total of 26 female founded brands took part in FFE, providing the same number of aspiring female entrepreneurs with an FFE day.

Alla and Anna, the Founders of Two Chicks, stated: “We conceived the idea for Future Female Entrepreneur at the start of 2022, with the aim of inspiring the next generation of female entrepreneurs. The entire process from design to delivery has been extremely rewarding; FFE applications were candid, impressive and have motivated us even more to support entrepreneurial young women. The female Founders and professionals we invited to take part and deliver FFE workshops have been nothing short of phenomenal, providing our FFEs with unique experiences and valuable guidance. Stakeholder support and recognition of FFE has exceeded our expectations. We are very grateful to everyone involved in Future Female Entrepreneur, and our goal now is to extend its impact and reach.”

Member of Parliament for Gosport, Member of the Women and Equalities Select Committee and champion of female entrepreneurialism, Dame Caroline Dinenage comments: “I was delighted to take part on the Two Chicks Future Female Entrepreneur panel and meet some of the ambitious young women involved in this ground-breaking initiative. Although things are improving for female entrepreneurs, much more needs to be done to close the gap between men and women; the Rose Review estimates this could add an additional £250 billion in GVA to the UK economy. I fully support Two Chicks and all the female founders involved in FFE with their goal to inspire the next generation of female entrepreneurs, and to ensure more UK businesses are founded and led by women.”

On taking part in FFE, female founders commented:

“We were excited to hear from Alla as we had been following their work with the empowerment fund since its launch and were honoured to be involved in such an exciting program. We have known Anna & Alla for many years and have always been inspired by them as innovative, successful, women in business. It also worked perfectly that it coincided with our seasonal showroom in Paris, as this is what we work towards for most of the year. Shun Yi got the opportunity to spend some time with our team, with an insight into our processes and how we work, as well as witnessing some buying meetings in action and perusing the showroom. We loved having Shun Yi in the showroom in Paris with us, I thoroughly enjoyed my team speaking with her and her enthusiasm and engagement was lovely. We hope to stay in touch and follow her journey as a Future Female Entrepreneur! Thank you for the opportunity Two Chicks!” Jessica Miller- Co-Founder of Jewellery Showroom

“I think mentoring is really important to develop next generation of female entrepreneurs.” Harriet Hastings- Founder of Biscuiteers

“We’re really excited to announce that we took part in the Future Female Entrepreneur initiative! Today we hosted a first law student to give her an insight into what it takes to run your own business.”
