Things to do from home: House of Vans London presents CASSETTE – A DOCUMENTARY MIXTAPE

As it can’t physically be open, House of Vans London is presenting a digital programme of unique content streamed direct and free from the House of Vans London website.

This Friday House of Vans is streaming Cassette – A Documentary Mixtape (featuring Henry Rollins and Thurston Moore), followed by an exclusive Q&A with director Zack Taylor, Will Evans (CEO Tape Club Records), Estella Ayederi (Big Joanie) and hosted by Jen Long, director of UK Cassette Store Day.

Doc Nights is back with an online screening of Cassette – A Documentary Mixtape in partnership with Doc n’ Roll and followed by an exclusive Q&A with director Zack Taylor, Will Evans (CEO Tape Club Records), Estella Ayederi (Big Joanie) and hosted by Jen Long, director of UK Cassette Store Day.

Cassette inventor Lou Ottens digs through his past to figure out why the audiotape won’t die. Rock veterans including Henry Rollins (Black Flag), Thurston Moore (Sonic Youth) and Ian MacKaye (Fugazi) join a legion of young bands releasing music on tape to push Lou along on his journey to remember.

Hit reserve to book your ticket and we’ll share your unique viewing link via email to watch online. The screening kicks off on Friday January 22nd at 19:00 and will be running for 48 hours, UK audiences only.
