thortful partners with Ostique to launch a first-ever ostomy card collection
Ostique, who designs aesthetically empathetic ostomy care products that support ostomates to live their best lives, has partnered with the greetings card marketplace thortful to launch a first-ever card collection for ostomy cards.
Ostique provides comprehensive ostomy care products through innovative medical devices, designed to change how ostomy care is delivered, engineered and ultimately perceived. They are on a mission to change the lives of ostomates through the development of revolutionary products, designed with life in mind, and through building and cultivating an empowered community. Together, enabling ostomates to live their fullest and best lives.
The card collection, in partnership with thortful, is to celebrate an ostomate’s Stomaversary (the date they had their stoma surgery) and is the first card collection to be launched around ostomy.
For this card collection, thortful and Ostique will be donating 50% of any royalties to both Ileostomy & Internal Pouch Association and Colostomy UK charities

Commenting on the partnership Olivia Rose, Chief Marketing Officer at Ostique said, “We have been working closely with ostomates for several years now, whilst developing our ostomy care products. Through this time, one of the main things we have consistently heard is how ostomates, and others with chronic illnesses, feel overwhelmingly disregarded and overlooked. We were organising a photoshoot in August and it was one of our model’s Stomaversary on the shoot day so we got her a cake to celebrate and were looking for a card to accompany it. But we couldn’t find one anywhere. This is such a special day for many, as it symbolises the turning point in their life and the end to years of suffering; it deserves to be celebrated like any other anniversary. So we turned to thortful to partner on a range of cards that not only address a Stomaversary but actually just help ostomates and others with chronic illnesses to feel seen. We wanted to partner with thortful specifically as their origin story was that of feeling let down by the lack of diversity in the online greeting card offering and wanting people to do more than settle for a card that would ‘just do’. We feel really aligned in our values and so proud of what we have created together.
