TIER joins London’s most recognisable drag and cabaret performers as they e-scoot round London

One of London’s chosen e-scooter operators TIER is showing its support for the LGBTQIA+ community on the weekend PRIDE was due to be held, by launching an initiative to offer performers, artists, and night-time workers a safe, convenient and green route home.

TIER is exclusively offering all Royal Vauxhall Tavern performers and visitors who are first-time riders an exclusive discount code this weekend, to ensure they get home safely. Available via the Royal Vauxhall Tavern website and socials for the next four weeks!

Drag Queen’s, King’s and cabaret legends from the Royal Vauxhall Tavern and other venues in the city have been hugely affected by the pandemic, as they haven’t been able to work for so long.

TIER teamed up with a host of drag and cabaret icons to launch the campaign. Pop artist and rising star, Le Fil told us, “We’re all becoming increasingly more careful and conscious of the environmental impact we have on our world. It’s great that TIER offers us a fabulous and sustainable way for us to zip around London from show to show, and then home.”

Georgia Yexley, Head of Cities, UK & Ireland at TIER added; “Making sure TIER is available to everyone is really important to us. We’re committed to ensuring the safety of our riders and encouraged to hear that we provide a safer alternative for the LGBTQIA+ community to travel around the city.”

“We’re thrilled to be collaborating with the Royal Vauxhall Tavern to celebrate London Pride Weekend. In a year or two that’s seen performance venues close their doors, it’s more important than ever to support an industry that has suffered significantly because of this. We hope this is just the start of a long-lasting partnership with the venue and local community as a whole.”

TIER launched in the borough of Lambeth on 5th July and is joined by Hammersmith & Fulham, Kensington & Chelsea, City of London, Ealing, Richmond, Southwark, Tower Hamlets and Westminster as part of the year-long e-scooter trial across the city.
