Tipi unleashes puppy power to combat stress for Mental Health Awareness Week

On Saturday 18 May, lifestyle-led rental homes provider Tipi will hold its inaugural ‘Puppy Paw-ty.’

The event takes place during Mental Health Awareness Week, with veterinary behaviour specialist Dr Julie Ashton of Life on Four Legs noting that

“The benefits of owning a pet can be huge. Studies have shown that pets can decrease our blood pressure, heart rate and our levels of cortisol – one of our main stress hormones. Owning a dog means we are more likely to get out and about walking each day, which has both mental and physical benefits.”

Taking place at Tipi’s sleek, stylish Landsby building in Wembley Park, the Puppy Paw-ty is open to both pet-owning residents and those without furry friends. The paw-some event line-up includes a special doggy brunch (with a healthy catered brunch for human residents too), and activities taking place in Landsby’s exceptional shared social spaces, which encompass a resident kitchen, private dining room and lounge.

The Tipi team are certainly doing all they can to ensure that their four-legged residents thrive and that their two-legged residents feel confident in owning pets while renting. Those attending the Puppy Paw-ty will be able to mingle in Landsby’s social spaces, interact and pet a puppy, with members of the Tipi team bringing their own dogs in addition to residents’ pets.
