TOP PLACES TO EAT THIS WEEKEND AT FRIEZE LONDON 2021

After a pandemic-induced hiatus, London’s top art festival, Frieze Art Fair, returns to the capital this weekend in Regent’s Park.

With over 160 galleries from 35 countries taking part, it’s a chance to discover the world’s most exciting contemporary artists, and with the consumption of art likely to make guests hungry for consumption of some great food.

Frieze brings together pop-ups from some of London’s best restaurants, cafés and bar and here’s five of the top culinary options at the festival.

Poke House

Europe’s most popular poke bowl chain, Poke House, opened its first UK restaurant, in London’s Notting Hill, last month. The LA street art-inspired, internationally renowned poke chain is now bringing its Californian soul and Hawaiian taste to Frieze London to allow guests to experience some fresh, healthy, vibrant food.

Try the signature Sunny Salmon bowl or the Spicy Tuna, Chicken and Vegan (with tofu) bowls.

Rita’s

After opening a restaurant in Soho Riat’s is now heading to Frieze Festival. The vegan Tonnarelli with celeriac cacio e pepe and the buttermilk panna cotta with baked plums are just a couple of options available.

La Goccia

Covent Garden’s La Goccia is an option for those looking for some cicchetti – small Venetian plates – made with ingredients that are carefully sourced with the utmost importance on quality, provenance whilst all being chemical free.

Moro

The dishes at Moro are always made authentically, true to their specific origins, be they Spanish or Moroccan, Iranian or Turkish. At Frieze, they’ll be offering salt cod croquetas and lamb tagine along with rosewater & cardamom ice cream.

Napoli Gang

Delivery-only restaurant called Napoli Gang, part of the Big mamma Group, launched in London last year and will have a mini menu of mouth-watering pizza’s available – along with the restaurant’s signature XXL lemon meringue pie
