TURTLE BAY TO LAUNCH 500-CAPACITY SITE IN LONDON THIS SPRING

Promising to recreate the spirit, smiles and magic of the Caribbean right here in the UK, this March, Turtle Bay is opening doors to its 48th site, located in the bustling town of Hammersmith.

Opening to the public on 31st March, the 500-capacity site will be the restaurant and bar group’s largest London launch yet, with the restaurant set to become a huge contender for those wanting to celebrate any special occasions in town.

With the ultimate blend of Caribbean-charisma and vibrant flavours, guests at Turtle Bay can expect a celebrational feast of Caribbean-inspired soul food with a brand new menu also launching this month, from elevated bottomless brunch favourites to their signature jerk pit dishes, not forgetting a selection of spice-infused West Indian plates such as Brown Stew Chicken and Curry Goat.

Turtle Bay’s Executive Chef Collin Brown, Jamaica’s most awarded chef, has curated a new and improved menu of classic dishes and unique flavours, using some of the island’s most prominent ingredients such as callaloo, ackee and jackfruit. The elevated menu at Turtle Bay also has an incredible selection of flavourful plant-based dishes, such as their Island Brunch Bowl, which features scrambled ackee, sauteed callaloo, curried chickpeas, sweet fried plantain, tomatoes, & a fire-grilled roti. The team will be introducing brand new dishes such as their Jamaican Run Down, Chef Collin’s slowly simmered butternut squash, sweet potato, & coconut stew, served with classic rice & peas.

With summer days creeping up on us, guests will be pleased to know that the venue boasts a huge outdoor terrace featuring a bar area, perfect for those looking to dine outside or even just have a few cocktails in the sunshine. Diners will also be able to go to town on Turtle Bay’s huge range of rum-based cocktails with the generous 2-4-1 offer every day of the week, with Happy Hour running from 11am-7pm daily, and the Late Happy Hour from 9:30pm Sunday-Thursday and from 10pm Friday and Saturday. Plus, if you’re not ready to go home just yet, the bar won’t be shutting its doors until 1.30am every Friday and Saturday.

The iconic Turtle Bay Bottomless Brunch will also be on offer at the new site; a two-hour long Caribbean cocktail and brunching experience which includes unlimited tropical cocktails, mocktails, Red Stripe, and prosecco, tasty dishes like the Honey Bunny Yardbird – Fried Chicken and Roti (the restaurant’s spin on chicken and waffles) served with infectious vibes throughout.

CEO of Turtle Bay, Nick Crossley says: “We cannot wait to immerse ourselves in the culture and community of Hammersmith, bringing our Caribbean-mix of rum, reggae and jerk to town. We’re proud to have created over 77 jobs along the way with this being one of our largest restaurants to date, and with summer around the corner we very much look forward to hosting guests in our summer terrace – and bring our ‘good times’ to West London!”
