TV FACES, CONTENT CREATORS AND FOOTIE FANS GET FIFA WORLD CUP READY AT FREELY FANDOM HOUSE

TV personalities, creators and football fans stepped into the ultimate fan experience last night as Freely – the free streaming platform backed by the BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and 5 – hosted its immersive Freely Fandom House takeover at Stormzy’s House Party in Soho ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026.

Celebrating every kind of fandom – from football superfans to reality TV obsessives – guests immersed themselves in themed rooms, football-inspired games, cocktails, face painting, cupcake decorating and recreated iconic TV moments, including RuPaul’s Drag Race UK queen Paige Three appearing in character as Claudia Winkleman.

Attendees included:

Broadcaster Ashley James
The Traitors S3 stars including winners Jake Brown and Leanne Quigley, Alexander Dragonetti, Leon Jackman and Anna Duke
Love Island S12 finalists Harry Cooksley and Conor Phillips
Eastenders star Ellie Dadd
RuPaul’s Drag Race UK star Paige Three

With communal viewing moments set to dominate this summer, Freely is encouraging viewers to get their home viewing setup sorted ahead of kick-off – whether that’s for football watch parties, Love Island nights in or must-watch live TV moments with friends and family.

The event also marks the launch of Freely’s partnership with House Party, which will host public screenings of every England game this summer, plus other key FIFA World Cup fixtures streamed via Freely. Registration for tickets is available HERE.
