Two men sought after car driven at men in Hounslow
Police are appealing for assistance in tracing two men, believed to have links to Bermondsey, who seriously injured a man by driving their car at him outside a drive-thru restaurant.
At around 00:45hrs on 28 September, a verbal altercation took place between the occupants of two cars at a drive-thru McDonalds restaurant in Bath Road, Hounslow.
Moments later, the driver of one of the cars – a black Ford Focus – drove the vehicle towards four male pedestrians, all of whom had just got out of the other car.
The car collided with one of the group of four, a 26-year-old man, who was taken to hospital by London Ambulance Service suffering serious head injuries. Five months after the incident, the man continues to suffer impaired hearing and loss of balance. None of the other men were injured.
Despite extensive police enquiries, the driver and passenger in the Ford Focus have not been identified. The car was being driven on false number plates and has not been sighted since the incident.
Detectives are releasing images of these two men. Either or both of them are believed to have connections to the northern part of Southwark, in particular the Bermondsey area.
Anyone who recognises either of the men is asked to contact detectives from Acton CID on 101 quoting CAD 275/sep28. To remain anonymous, call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
