The Gallery – Season 5 “It’s Not Easy Being Green”
Launching 7 October 2025 across the UK and, for the first time, Brazil, The Gallery is the UK’s biggest art exhibition, a cultural institution without walls. In partnership with the British Council for its UK/Brazil Season of Culture, and timed in the run-up to COP30 in Brazil, Season 5 invites artists from both countries to respond to the theme “It’s Not Easy Being Green”.
British and Brazilian artists will transform billboards, high streets and highways into an open-air climate gallery, showcasing works that confront the climate crisis and spark national conversations. Selected pieces will appear on thousands of billboards and digital screens usually reserved for advertising, bringing powerful, thought-provoking art into everyday life.
