UK Masters brings three days of international-standard table football to Walthamstow

Official ITSF 500 tournament will bring leading table football players to Big Penny Social from 2–4 October, competing for a guaranteed £2,500 prize fund.

London Table Football will stage UK Masters IV at Big Penny Social in Walthamstow this weekend, bringing three days of fast-paced competitive table football to one of London’s largest social venues.

The UK Masters is an official ITSF 500 tournament, forming part of the international table football calendar and offering players valuable ranking points. Competitors will take part in singles and doubles events across a programme designed to accommodate different ages, categories and levels of experience.

The weekend begins on Friday with a social Monster DYP warm-up event, in which participants play alongside different randomly selected partners. Competition continues across Saturday and Sunday, culminating in the tournament’s principal knockout rounds and finals.

A guaranteed prize fund of at least £2,500 will be awarded across the weekend, with increased prizes available in the headline events.

Stephen Lyall of London Table Football said:

“Table football is fast, technical and incredibly exciting to watch when it is played at this level. The UK Masters brings together serious competition and an inclusive community atmosphere, with opportunities for established champions, developing competitors and new players alike. We want more people to discover that organised foosball is a genuine competitive sport.”
