Fulham & Chelsea residents can now test out the UK’s fastest on-demand supermarket which delivers groceries in just 15 minutes.

Startup Weezy is piloting its service there having raised £1M investment. There are plans to expand to 15 more sites across London by the end of next year, before a UK expansion.

Customers use Weezy’s app to select items on their shopping lists – from fresh fruit, vegetables, bread and cupboard fillers, to over-the-counter medicines, cleaning products and alcoholic drinks – and pay. The order is then picked and packed at Weezy’s fulfilment centre, before being delivered on electric mopeds or bicycles within 15 minutes.

The service runs between 10am and 10pm every day, charging £2.95 for delivery.
Weezy sources its groceries not only from selected wholesalers, but also from local independent bakers and butchers, with fresh fruit and vegetables from New Covent Garden Market.
