VAPIANO TO OPEN FIRST NEW RESTAURANT SINCE 2018 IN PADDINGTON

London’s favourite laid-back, made-to-order Italian restaurant, Vapiano, has announced the opening of their newest outpost in Paddington, London. The new restaurant, which is open from 12pm today, is the first to launch in the capital since Vapiano Tottenham Court Road launched in 2018.

Known for offering hyper-customisable menus, Vapiano prides itself on its handmade fresh pasta and pizza that are cooked fresh to order using quality ingredients made on site. Favourite pasta dishes will be on the menu in Paddington such as the most popular Gamberetti E Spinaci with King Prawns, Aglio E Olio or the option to customise your dish, adding fresh chilli, garlic, meat or fish. Pizza lovers equally have plenty to choose from, with options such as a classic Diavolo or a hearty Calzone with mushrooms, prosciutto and mozzarella. As with the pasta menu, pizzas can be customised for guests to enjoy their dream combinations.

Vapiano Paddington is located on the corner of Eastbourne Terrace and Craven Road, a stone’s throw from both the train station and the up and coming Paddington basin. It is the fourth restaurant from the group to hit the capital alongside the busiest Vapiano in the world, Great Portland Street (Oxford Circus), Tottenham Court Road and Tower Bridge. The new restaurant is the most intimate of the UK Vapiano sites at 4,500 square feet, serving 168 covers compared to the typical 350 covers. The walls will have hand-drawn murals from Swedish artist Matilde Petterson and the restaurant will feature the signature olive tree which will sit in the centre of the space. A separate bar will sit in the light and airy space and the restaurant will boast the same sharing tables and laid-back seating areas that Vapiano is well-known for; the ideal place for a quick lunch or long lazy dinner. Manager Marco Dechecco, who has been in the Vapiano family for over five years, will oversee the restaurant.

Vapiano Paddington will be donating money raised this week during soft launches to local non-profit charity KOTG (Kids On The Green) who aim to provide a nurturing, inclusive, safe space for children and young adults across the capital.

Vapiano Paddington will open to the public on the 14th of December at 50 Eastbourne Terrace Paddington W2 3PX.
