Veolia, Westminster City Council’s recycling, waste collection and street cleansing partner, is delighted to announce the ReNew Summer Festival, a free community celebration aimed at promoting sustainability, reducing waste, and supporting families across Westminster.
> The festival will take place 28-31 July, 11am-3pm at Grand Junction, featuring free refreshments, repair, and reuse activities, alongside an array of stalls offering community support and sustainability initiatives.

Veolia, in partnership with Westminster City Council, invites residents to join the ReNew Summer Festival, an engaging celebration of sustainable living and community support taking place between 28-31 July, 11am-3pm at Grand Junction, W2 5TF.
Launching during the summer holidays, the festival will offer four days of free, family-friendly activities showcasing creative approaches to waste reduction and sustainability, all in one location. Visitors will discover how everyday items can be given an extended life, helping to preserve resources and reduce environmental impact whilst connecting with a variety of skilled volunteers and local organisations. Free food and refreshments will be available throughout the festival on a first-come, first-served basis.
The festival will offer a range of activities and support services, including:
Upcycling workshops – learn creative techniques to transform and refresh items
Clothes mending workshops – develop practical skills to extend the life of your garments
Electrical appliance inspections and bicycle repairs – access professional repair services delivered by skilled volunteers
CV workshops and career advice – receive guidance and support for parents and community members
Food and community activities – enjoy free refreshments and connect with local organisations
Community partners – enjoy career guidance, cost of living assistance and practical support on repair and reuse from groups including Regarm, Dr Bike, Sunnyjar, Green Doctors and Employment 4 All
