VERCIDA announces the most inclusive employers of 2018

Award-winning diversity jobs board, VERCIDA has named their Top Inclusive Employers of 2018.

This year’s award process was highly competitive and considered the over 160 highly-committed organisations working with VERCIDA on fair and people-focused employment. The experts behind the ground-breaking inclusive employment job site have named their top ten for their work on GenderDisabilityBAMELGBT, and top five for their work on Faith and Age topics.

Entrants are judged according to factors like diversity initiatives within their own business, the amount and type of content shared on the VERCIDA website, partnerships with diverse initiatives, external awards received that year and how they rank as candidate favourites.

VERCIDA Chief Executive Officer Morgan Lobb explained, “The VERCIDA award explores the power of using a diversity-led careers site to reach new audiences and promote diversity and inclusion at all levels. We’ve seen really strong engagement this year and our client’s commitment to recruiting and supporting people well was very impressive. These awards have no category sponsors and there is no glitzy black-tie awards dinner, in fact employers aren’t even invited to enter with a well worded entry, we choose the winners based on their direct demonstrable inclusion efforts over time.”

The VERCIDA awards are given annually to recognise excellence and commitment to equality and diversity in the workplace. Previous winners include Morgan Stanley, BBC, PwC, and Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy. All companies in the top ten are given a kite mark to recognise their best practice in workplace equality and diversity.

VERCIDA is a careers site tuned to diversity and inclusion that works only with employers committed to values, equality, respect, culture, inclusion, diversity and accessibility.

Employers use this site to showcase who they are, the jobs they have and the working environment they wish to create in order to attract a rich variety of people. Jobseekers use the site to discover top vacancies from hundreds of organisations, filtering for a range of issues such as benefits, or what they want from an employer.
