WappART celebrates International Women’s Day – New art exhibition, SISTERS, opens at London Dock

Launching on International Women’s Day (Friday 8th March), with an opening night hosted between 6-9pm, Sisters celebrates the contributions of female and non-binary artists within the creative community.

Six artists have been carefully selected to explore and initiate dialogue that inspire change and encourage self-expression, female resilience and strength.

Artists on display include: Liga Lomane, Lorette Depois, Daniela Costa, Dominika Herman, Ella Villanueva, Elaine Buchanan

WappArt is located on Gauging Square – a central interactive piazza – at London Dock, a vibrant neighbourhood in Wapping.

Closely located to The City, and neighbouring iconic London landmarks in Zone 1, London Dock is well-connected to transport links across the Capital. A short walk from Tower Hill and Aldgate tube stations, and also enjoying access to the Elizabeth Line via the nearby Whitechapel station, this growing destination offers a wave of new openings and has firmly placed Wapping’s vibrant and cultural dining scene on the London map.
