WEMBLEY PARK PRESENTS WEMBLEY PARK PRIDE 2025: A QUEER SUNDOWNER UNDER THE ARCH

Wembley Park – named in The Sunday Times’ Best Places to Live 2025 – together with Quintain Living, the award-winning company offering homes to rent at Wembley Park, has announced a relaxed, free-to-attend Pride sundowner on Saturday 5th July 2025.

Taking place on Olympic Way, with the iconic Wembley Stadium arch as a backdrop, the event will be headlined by one of the UK’s sharpest and most in-demand queer comedians, Mark Bittlestone.

Designed for those aged 18+, the sunset Pride event will deliver an open-air celebration of queer joy, comedy, music and community. Starting at 6.30 pm, the Sound Shell on Olympic Way will come alive with music, with uplifting DJ sets warming up the crowds before Mark Bittlestone takes to the stage.

Known for his sold-out shows, viral clips, and cutting one-liners. Mark, who is currently touring the UK with his near sold-out show “I Need a Straight Guy*” has over 200,000 followers and 100 million views online and a five-star Edinburgh Fringe show to his name. Mark comments, “Whenever I’ve looked up at the Wembley Arch I’ve imagined myself underneath it playing with balls, so an enormous thank you to Wembley Park Pride for making my dream come true!”

Alongside Mark’s sharp punchlines, outrageous stories and plenty of comedy chaos, Wembley Park Pride 2025 will welcome the electric Homoparody Queer Collective, fresh off a British LGBT Awards nomination. Founded by Mr Gay England 2022, David Allwood, Homoparody was created to tackle loneliness within the LGBTQ+ community and has since become one of the UK’s leading queer collectives. They will bring show-stopping dance routines, iconic cabaret shows and big community spirit to the Sound Shell.

With one mission: to make sure everyone feels welcome, seen, and ready to dance, Nikky Lyle, queer DJ, promoter and co-founder of the sell-out LGBTQ+ night, Damp Disco, and Shepway Social Club, also joins the Wembley Park Pride 2025 line up. Known for spinning pop, cheese, club classics and curating pure joy on the dancefloor, Nikky will bring big energy and iconic tunes to the celebration.

Alongside this superb line-up, Wembley Park Pride 2025 will also welcome Special Guest – the open mic night where anything goes. Anyone can take to the Sound Shell stage to share anything for 60 seconds. Expect creative talks, shower thoughts, true stories, hidden talents, deep and meaningfuls, and much more.

Claudio Giambrone, Head of Cultural Programming, Wembley Park, comments: “Wembley Park is committed to supporting Pride and we are delighted to welcome the annual celebrations back to the neighbourhood for a fourth year. Friendly and full of fun, this year’s Pride sundowner welcomes all adults, free of charge – just turn up and enjoy!”

The Pride sundowner is part of Wembley Park’s Summer Rocks programme — a season-long series of free events, including Lana Del Rey and Coldplay orchestral tributes, a wellness festival, outdoor art classes, and weekend performances marking 10 years of Busk in London.
