What’s next for the NHS: The Conservative Party Conference

This year the NHS turned 70, a new tech-savvy Health and Social Care Secretary was announced and £20bn in extra funding for the health service promised.

But, the NHS continues to suffer issues from a lack of productivity, staff shortages, lack of innovation and little connectivity. Where health technology is starting to help, a splintered approach is holding it back from true innovation.

The Conservative Party conference this week will need to address the problems surrounding the NHS and offer solutions to fix them.
