William Hanson has revealed the ways he likes to get steamy in the kitchen

Etiquette expert William Hanson has revealed the ways he likes to get steamy in the kitchen.

The presenter of hit podcast, ‘Help I Sexted My Boss’, has tapped into his sensual side for a series of three ‘seductive’ audio bites aimed at bringing a delicious dash of excitement to lunchtimes.

Filmed while recording the tantalising trilogy, the steamy short stories combine his flirtatious reading style with some eloquent humour – all delivered from the heart of the house – the kitchen.

The behind-the-scenes video comes after a study of 2,000 adults revealed 40 per cent want to improve their lunch breaks; from the things they do in that time, to the food they eat.

The research and audio bites were commissioned by Birds Eye to mark the launch of its three new Steamfresh Meals – pasta and veg-based microwavable meals for one.

Just one in 10 consider lunch to be their favourite meal of the day, with the average adult only really enjoying what they eat for it three days a week.

While only nine per cent would describe their middle meal as ‘exciting’ – with staples such as sandwiches, soup and salad the most popular weekday lunch choices.

When choosing what to have, how good it tastes is considered most important (31 per cent), followed by how easy it is to prepare (22 per cent) and how nutritional it is (15 per cent).

But four in 10 prefer a hot lunch option.

Almost half (48 per cent) of adults also prefer the idea of someone else rustling up their meal for them, with 60 per cent claiming it always tastes better when it’s made by someone else.

And 28 per cent are simply too lazy to make it themselves, according to the OnePoll data.

It also emerged adults spend less than 15 minutes preparing their ‘working from home’ meal.

But they don’t have too much time to eat, taking an average of less than half an hour during their day to have a break.

Alongside eating, while on their break, they spend their time scrolling social media (30 per cent) or eating al-desko (27 per cent).

Sophie Simms, from Birds Eye Steamfresh, said: “Let’s face it, lunchtimes aren’t always the most inspiring of mealtimes, so we really want to bring the love back for lunch, no matter how long we have to take it.

“Our research has shown people really do want to mix things up a bit for their working from home lunches and we want to show how this is possible.

“We’ve created Steamfresh Seductions to liven up lunch times alongside our new meals, which lock in the flavour and nutrients through the power of steaming – and William was just the perfect person to narrate these steamy short stories and, of course, make sure we eat that tagliatelle correctly.”
