WIMBLEDON BEAUMONT EMBRACES RESIDENT’S MUSICAL TALENT

Residents at Wimbledon Beaumont enjoyed a unique and special afternoon of Christmas carols together with local violinist, Kate. They were also joined by Wimbledon’s very own resident ambassador, Irene who played her violin.

Irene has always been a violinist and took after her mother who also played. Irene kept her mother’s violin as a way of remembering her, Irene still likes to play the violin as a way of staying connected and the memories associated with it.
Irene and Kate played the Music as residents sang the words. It made for a wonderful afternoon and got everyone into the festive cheer. Staff at the home were delighted to see Irene feeling so relaxed and how happy she was playing, as they knew how much it meant to her.

Khushkaran, General Manager at the home, said: “We believe that every moment is worth cherishing. We want everyone we care for to know how important they are to us here at Wimbledon Beaumont. It was wonderful to see how happy Irene was – and the staff loved being a part of this as well.”
