Wine Tasting: An Introduction to The Richmond Club wines
The Richmond Club, Richmond’s first member’s club, has teamed up with Liberty Wines, the premium wine specialist, and will be hosting a Wine Tasting for both Members and for Non-Members on Thursday 19 May, 7:30pm.
Guests will have the opportunity to explore four different wines that the Club offers, as well as learn more about the grapes and the wine-making process. The wines to be tasted include the ‘John Duval, Entity’, the grapes of which were gathered in 2020 and came from the Barossa Valley in Australia. The tasting selection will also include ‘Blank Canvas, Sauvignon Blanc’ of 2021 from New Zealand, ‘Azevedo Alvarihno Reserva’ of 2020 from Portugal and ‘Cave de Hunawihr, Réserve Gewürztraminer’ of 2018 from France.
There will be platters of nibbles served for everyone to accompany the Wine Tasting. The tasting will be led by experts from Liberty Wines who will provide details on the grapes and the soil they are coming from, how they get harvested and stored and in what conditions.
Mariann Major, General Manager of The Richmond Club, said: “I am very excited about this event since it will allow our Members to learn more about our wine selection. At the same time, Non-Members will have the opportunity to see what The Richmond Club has to offer. It’s wonderful that Liberty Wines are bringing their expertise to the event and will provide further details for wine enthusiasts and share their knowledge with us.”
Tickets are for Members £20 per person and for Non-Members £30 per person. Our wine tasting event is a great opportunity to meet new people, network, and learn about the origins of The Richmond Club’s wines.
