WOODHURST PARK MARKS ITS FINAL PHASE WITH LAUNCH OF NATURE-THEMED SHOWHOME
To mark the release of the final phase at its Warfield development Woodhurst Park, local housebuilder Berkeley has opened the doors to prospective buyers to view its new four-bedroom show home. Set in 65 acres of country parkland with an abundance of nature on its doorstep, The Starling showhome has been designed by interior design studio Zetter Blunt Design to draw upon its natural surroundings and illustrate the flexible family lifestyle on offer at the development.
Situated in a desirable setting overlooking the Riverside Cut, the showhome has been dressed to demonstrate contemporary modern living, using a forest hues colour palette to reflect the greener lifestyle available at the development.
Hannah Blunt and Grace Zetter, founders of Zetter Blunt Design, commented: “Our goal was to bring the showhome to life by creating a family home with a design that reflects the natural surroundings at Woodhurst Park. We wanted visitors to immediately feel at home when they step through the doors and to be able to fully understand the flexibility offered by the Starling’s layout.
“The forest hues of juniper and olive green, alongside the stone and spruce blues, make the palette colour reflect the variety of nature at the development, supported by natural textures “foraged” from the country park, like driftwood, mushroom wallpaper and statement artwork.”
“It is also a special property as it is the last showhome that will be launched at Woodhurst Park, so we wanted it to really embody the core values of the development – family and nature. The Starling is expected to be very popular with the local market because it offers families room to settle and grow so we wanted the interior to reflect this demand for space that buyers to use as they wish, whether they’d prefer a home office, yoga area or playroom – they do not have to compromise.”
The townhouse features a spacious principal bedroom with a dressing room and stylish ensuite, as well as an open-plan ground floor, separate living room and three further double bedrooms. The home’s open plan living area includes finishing touches such as fluted panelling behind the walnut wood dining table and bespoke shelving and lighting to help to divide the dining and living spaces, creating informal but distinct areas designed to help visitors to relax and unwind at home. The large kitchen includes a family breakfast bar, ideal for casual dining and family time, with the dining table and matching bench offering a more formal dining setting.
Benjamin Ivey, Director of Sales and Marketing at Berkeley Homes (Oxford & Chiltern), says: “We’re continuing to see high interest at Woodhurst Park, so it’s brilliant to have a new showhome to help bring our buyers’ imagination to life. Zetter Blunt Design has done a fantastic job, giving a real flavour of the lifestyle on offer in our last phase at our development and illustrating how our community and nature live hand in hand at Woodhurst Park.”
“This final phase will consist of our most popular housetypes and will include a range of two and three-bedroom coach houses as well as two, three, four and five-bedroom houses. We are looking forward to welcoming potential homebuyers to view the showhome and to learn more about the thriving established community that has been formed here at Woodhurst Park.”
Set in a beautiful country park location with acres of landscaped open space, Woodhurst Park offers a wide choice of high quality homes with a superb specification and tight-knit community. Its latest release, The Harvest Collection, sits to the south-east of the wider development amidst an array of landscaped areas, nature walks and play areas and comprises of 29 two, three, four and five-bedroom homes. The new phase includes the last 5 bedroom homes due to be built at Woodhurst Park and offers a variety of properties for all types of buyers including upsizers, investors and those purchasing their first home.
