World #1 team England Rugby Women set to face world champions NZ in thrilling Twickenham showdown this month

On Saturday 14th September 2024, Allianz Stadium, Twickenham, will host a colossal women’s rugby fixture as World Rugby’s top two ranked teams, England (the Red Roses) take on rivals New Zealand in what promises to be a thrilling showdown.

Following the success of the England team earlier this year in the Guinness Women’s Six Nations, with dominant performances across all matches, this is set to be an epic game at the home of England Rugby with a unique opportunity for fans to witness the match up of the two favourites for the 2025 Rugby World Cup in England.

With April’s Six Nations fixture against Ireland attracting close to 50,000 fans, another huge crowd is expected at HQ as fans can look forward to immersing themselves in each kick, scrum, and point first-hand from the stands with tens of thousands of fans cheering on the best-of-the-best in the women’s game.

England and New Zealand’s rivalry remains as close as ever in recent years, with the Red Roses narrowly losing by just three points in the World Cup Final in 2022, before defeating the Black Ferns to claim the inaugural WXV title in 2023.

Captain Marlie Packer, said: “We want to put a brand of rugby out there which is exciting and we’ve got a good run of games now where we can attack it, one of those being the big one against New Zealand at Allianz Stadium. It’s number one in the world against the world champions which is super exciting – bring it on!”

Tickets for the England v New Zealand game start from £25 for adults, and £5 for juniors, with a day that promises fun for all the family with an electric atmosphere.

Ticket holders will enjoy the pleasure of welcoming back the Red Roses team returning to Allianz Stadium following an unprecedented sixth consecutive Six Nations title, adding to their growing legacy of inspiring the next generations of girls and juniors across the UK as leading, sporting icons.
