World’s first dedicated menopause store opens on Kensington High Street this October

Londoners will be able to visit the world’s first dedicated menopause-friendly concept store this October, as GenM brings a first-of-its-kind shopping experience to Kensington High Street for World Menopause Awareness Month. The space itself has been specifically designed with the menopausal shopper in mind. The temperature will be maintained at 21°C, alongside soft lighting, calming music and soothing scents, with the environment reviewed by a doctor to help create a comfortable shopping experience for midlife women.

Open to the public from 1st–11th October 2026 at raye the store (96 Kensington High Street, London, W8 4SG), the concept store is spearheaded by GenM, the Menopause Partner for brands and home of the MTick®, the universal shopping symbol and certification for menopause-friendly products.

Designed specifically with perimenopausal and menopausal women in mind, visitors will be able to access one-to-one consultations with Lead Campaign Partner Pharmacy2U healthcare professionals, expert demonstrations and information, as well as browse and shop a curated selection of MTick-certified menopause-friendly products.

Products from leading health, beauty, food and drink brands and retailers will be available, including lead campaign partners such as L’Oréal, E45, Pharmacy2U Sainsbury’s and Tesco.

The store arrives as GenM research finds that 94% of women want to shop for menopause-friendly products, while 64% struggle to find products that support them.

Heather Jackson, CEO and Co-Founder of GenM, said the store has been created to put menopause firmly on the high street, giving women a dedicated place to discover trusted information, expert guidance and MTick-certified menopause-friendly products in a one-stop destination.
