YO-CHI ADDS REEMIES’ BANANA BREAD BITES TO ITS TOPPING STATION FOR TWO WEEKS ONLY

Australia’s cult frozen yogurt brand Yo-Chi has joined forces with London small-batch bakery Reemies to bring a new autumnal addition to its Notting Hill topping station. From Monday 19th October to Sunday 1st November, Reemies’ Dark Chocolate Chunk Banana Bites will be available alongside 30+ toppings at Yo-Chi’s first UK venue on Notting Hill Gate.

Responding to requests from fans since Yo-Chi’s UK launch in August, the limited-time addition brings together Reemies’ signature banana bread and Yo-Chi’s signature build-your-own frozen yogurt bowls.

Made with sweet Fairtrade bananas, unrefined golden caster sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg, Reemies’ Dark Chocolate Chunk Banana Bites are baked fresh in small batches. Guests can pile them onto their bowls alongside a choice of more than 30 toppings and ten frozen yogurt flavours, including açaí, for the perfect combination of rich banana bread and frozen yogurt.

Oliver Allis, Co-owner and Chief Brand Officer at Yo-Chi, said: “Since opening on Notting Hill Gate, we’ve been blown away by how much the local community has embraced Yo-Chi. This collaboration is a direct response to the demand we’ve seen from fans, and Reemies is such a loved part of London’s food scene. With their new Notting Hill site on the way, it feels like the perfect way to welcome our soon-to-be neighbours.”

Founded in 2018 by Reem Abusamra, Reemies began with the banana cake she regularly baked at home. After friends and family encouraged her to share it with a wider audience, Reem – who trained as a lawyer before going to chef school – turned her baking into a business. The small-batch bakery now has a store on Fulham Road in Chelsea, with a second site on Ledbury Road in Notting Hill set to open this winter.

Reem Abusamra, founder of Reemies, said: “This is the dreamiest, most iconic London collab! As soon as Yo-Chi opened its doors here, we got so many messages about our bites being the perfect topping for their luscious frozen yogurt. The quality, ethos and vibes of both brands are so in sync: the ultimate synerCHI!”

The topping will be available at Yo-Chi’s Notting Hill Gate venue from 19th October to 1st November, subject to availability.

Located at 81–85 Notting Hill Gate, Yo-Chi serves self-serve frozen yoghurt and açaí with more than 30 toppings in a vibrant, community-led space. The venue has more than 120 seats, double-height ceilings and an in-store DJ booth, with DJs at weekends. Completely alcohol-free, it’s open Sunday–Wednesday, 10am–10pm, and Thursday–Saturday, 10am–11pm.
