YOUTH MUSIC TAKES OVER LONDON’S AMAZING GRACE FOR AN EXCLUSIVE NEXTGEN COMMUNITY EVENT

Youth Music,
the UK’s leading young people’s music charity, is hosting it’s third NextGen Community Event, sponsored by Ticketmaster, in iconic London music venue Amazing Grace, on Tuesday 12th
September from 7pm.

The event will provide young creatives with the chance to network with like-minded individuals, gain insight on navigating the music industry from a panel of experts and enjoy
live performances from incredibly talented up and coming musicians.

As well as this, the long-awaited nominee shortlist of this year’s Youth Music Awards, in association with Hal Leonard Europe, will be revealed. The winners will then be crowned
at the upcoming awards show at London’s Troxy on Wednesday 18th
October.

The NextGen Community Event will include a panel talk from
Talia Andrews, the founder of all-female festival, FEMMESTIVAL, Vanessa Threadgold
co-founder of Cactus City, the UK’s first female-only recording studio, and
ALT BLK ERA, alternative music stars and Glastonbury 2023 performers. The talented panel will be discussing how a more sustainable and mutually beneficial relationship can be built between music industry organisations and the underrepresented people they
hope to help.

In a recent survey conducted by Youth Music of its NextGen community, 19% of young people stated a lack of industry connections is the bigger barrier they face to pursuing music
industry careers.

This free event is bridging this gap, providing young people the opportunity to connect with other like-minded creatives, allowing them to build on their network of peers and
collaborators.
