The Ferry Boat Inn, part of Stonegate Group’s Heritage Pubs, has reopened following an exciting six-figure investment with an array of amazing new features, creating nine new jobs in the community.
Steeped in history, the building was built in the 18th century and has been a pub at the heart of the Tottenham community ever since. Famous locally for the annual wassailing event in the garden, the pub has apple trees that have lived at the pub for hundreds of years.
A popular destination for a meal out with family and friends, the pub serves as the best spot in town for an appetising bite to eat or a great-value beverage with the renovation set to increase the pub’s offering even further.
Now showing all the major sports channels, the pub is Tottenham’s new home of live sport, with football, cricket, F1, golf and many more sports available on all the pub’s many HD TV screens, with the pub particularly popular with football fans.
One of the most exciting additions is the outdoor bar. Arriving in time for the warmer months, the garden area has increased in capacity and has received a fresh lick of paint with new pristine lighting set to enhance the pub’s cosy atmosphere even further.
Anticipated to be popular with locals, the garden provides a best-in-the-area sports viewing experience as well as a new range of comfortable seating with the outdoor bar allowing the pub to serve guests that are outside enjoying the fresh air.
Following a full redecoration, the venue has also been refreshed to retain its familiar charm, complemented with a vibrant new colour scheme consisting of a stunning variety of greens, appealing carpets and wallpaper that all add to the warm atmosphere within the pub.
Situated near popular walking spots, dogs are more than welcome throughout the pub, making the venue a favoured spot for guests popping in for a pint with their pet, with water and treats available behind the bar.
The Ferry Boat Inn also boasts a fine selection of beers, ciders and wine, all at some of the most competitive prices in the area. The pub also has an extensive offering of no and low alcohol drinks, ensuring all guests are accommodated to.
Hannah May, General Manager of the Ferry Boat Inn, said: “We’re delighted to welcome guests back to our pub following its brief closure, we have missed seeing everyone!
“We’ve kept everything our guests know and love, while making thoughtful improvements where it was needed, and I can’t wait for everyone to see the difference.
“This refresh is all about enhancing the overall guest experience, and we’re particularly excited about our refurbished beer garden as well as finding out what everyone thinks of our new-look pub, the increase in capacity is going to lead to some huge nights!”
Renowned for one of the best Sunday roasts in Tottenham, the Ferry Boat Inn will continue its beloved Sunday roast offering with bottomless yorkies, roast potatoes, and gravy ensuring that everyone leaves their local happy.
Alongside the reopening, a packed new weekly events schedule has been launched, with a reason to visit every single day.
