Spooky season: Westminster has the most Halloween events
As the temperature drops, orange and yellow leaves fill the ground, it’s officially spooky season.
To get into the Halloween spirit, Barratt London has mapped out the best places you can trick or treat and get your spook on.
Which areas offer the most Halloween events?
Kensington and Chelsea as well as Westminster come in first place for the most Halloween events. Kensington and Chelsea are home to the best trick or treating spots as well as a spooktacular half-term party at the Maxilla Social Club.
Westminster has a wide variety of events including a Halloween hunt at Hyde Park, a freak out Halloween special at Covet Garden tube station, London Dungeon’s Halloween takeover and a shark walk at Sea Life.
Southwark is in second place with six Halloween events at various locations, some of these being London tombs experience at London Bridge, Halloween night at Ministry of Sound, Rocky Horror and Brunch at The Great Exhibition.
Another frightening attraction is the Clink Prison Museum where you can see the gruesome torture devices from one of England’s oldest prisons. And if you are a museum fanatic, be sure to visit the Old Operating Theatre Museum and Herb Garret for a history tour of 19th-century surgery.
Camden and Lambeth follow in third place with 5 Halloween events each. In Camden, some of the events taking place include a Halloween pub crawl at The Good Mixer, a Halloween zombie glitter fest at The Camden venue, and the Halloween Extravaganza UKDC dance studio.
Lambeth hosts numerous events for Halloween such as the London eye spooky sailing, Shrek’s Halloween adventure on the South bank and sinister circus brunch in Bar Elba.

The study also analysed which areas of London have the spookiest tours, delving into creepy walking tours and gruesome live-action events.
The City of London takes first place for the spookiest tours offering 21 scary sight tours, with seven revolving around Jack the Ripper. There are also ghostly, witchcraft, ancient cult tours and history walkthroughs of London’s bloody past.
Westminster is in second place with 15 spooky tours and Tower Hamlets follows closely behind with 11 tours. Like the City of London, Westminster has plenty of Jack the Ripper and serial killer tours but if you fancy something different, there is a haunted pub tour as well as a Charles Dicken’s Christmas carol walking tour.
Tower Hamlets has a wide selection of gruesome tours including a London executioners tour, a grim reaper walking tour and a witches wonders of London tour.
