LH1 GLOBAL ANNOUNCE DOUBLE PROMOTION AMIDST DIVERSITY PLEDGE

Leading International Off-Plan Property Consultancy, LH1 Global has announced the promotion of two long-serving members of the business, with Tom Lilley promoted to Sales Director and Harry Hickling-Baker to Business Development & Partnership Manager.

The exciting internal developments follow the firm’s recent commitment to a leading industry Diversity Pledge, which will work alongside LH1 Global’s current ethos, whilst establishing a continuous improvement plan with measurable objectives and clearly defined outcomes.

Rayna Hunter, chief executive of LH1 Global, said: “We’re delighted to see two highly valued members of our team thrive and continue to grow with us. Tom and Harry have both delivered excellent results for the business and our clients, so this is a well-earned step up. The experience they have earnt here is invaluable and they are well-liked and valued by everyone, so the future is bright for them and LH1 Global.”

Tom Lilley first joined LH1 Global as Partnership Manager in March 2021 following five years in residential Estate Agency. Initially, his role was to grow the company’s agent network and manage junior accounts to assist the Head of Global Sales. Tom has since achieved two promotions, progressing now from Partnership Director to Sales Director, where alongside managing partner accounts, he now also oversees the Partnership Management team, with the aim of expanding LH1 Global’s agent network even further.

Harry Hickling-Baker started at LH1 Global as Business Support Executive, aiding a variety of departments across the company, including sales progression, marketing & PR and partnerships. Having joined from a Corporate Hospitality background, Harry developed all of his industry knowledge through shadowing the top team at LH1 Global. Within 16 months at LH1 Global, Harry has achieved two promotions, with his new position as Business Development & Partnership Manager testament to his hard work.

Harry’s dual role encompasses both site and agent acquisition, whilst also managing the ongoing relationships with some of LH1 Global’s partners once onboarding has taken place.

The recent internal successes at LH1 Global dovetails with the firms commitment to a leading industry Diversity Pledge, which encourages those in the property industry to ensure they build diverse and inclusive workplaces.

Whilst LH1 Global is already a very diverse place to work, there are always opportunities to improve, which is why the leadership team has adopted some new principles and actioned guidance set by the pledge to ensure that diversity remains a core value of the business.

The Diversity Pledge sets out to drive change in the property industry and improve diversity within the sector, with the key objectives including:
Attract, develop and promote a more diverse workforce
Take steps to close pay gaps
Champion and recognise the achievements of employees across all of the protected workplace characteristics
Foster a culture of diversity and inclusiveness
To set annual EDI objectives and transparently publish progress

Rayna added: “We pride ourselves on being a company that cherishes and recognises diversity, as we are an international and outward-looking company. Not only do we celebrate and promote diversity in the workplace, but throughout our day-to day lives.

“I have helped lead LH1 Global to be a fully inclusive working environment. We attract a diverse pool of investors from all over the world and gain traction from an array of different cultures, with a proven global reach to more than 50 countries worldwide.

“We provide the opportunity for anyone, anywhere, to buy into our developments to sustain their security long into the future. Therefore, I am delighted to continue to evolve and improve our own ethos by signing the Diversity Pledge on behalf of LH1 Global and look forward to putting our fresh ideas into force.”
