Astrid (118A Alexandra Park Rd, London N10 2AH) is excited to announce the official opening of their sister site, Astrid Atelier which is located a few doors down at number 114 Alexandra Park Road. An extension of their flagship and bijoux kiosk bakery, Astrid Atelier offers an extended range of artisan sourdough breads and lunch options as well as a curated retail counter.

A creative European bakery with big ambitions, Astrid is dynamic and exciting in its evolution; Astrid Atelier is the next step. A true workshop and a welcome extension to the mini bakery kitchen, more space means the Astrid range has now been extended to include savoury items. Choose from a Heritage Tomato Pain Suisse, Red Onion & Stilton Focaccia or twice-baked classic Smoked Ham & Cheddar Croissant. Meanwhile, exclusive to Saturdays are their Bacon Morning Rolls with Astrid Breakfast Ketchup. Furthermore, Pizza Pop-ups by Astrid Executive Baker Matteo di Russo, sourdough masterclasses and the return of weekly delivery Breakfast Boxes are all in the works for 2026.

All Astrid’s signature bakes are available too, including the croissant pastry Cinnamon Buns, Pistachio Croissant and seasonal fruit Danish, as well as themed selections such as the Christmas Eve, Bonfire Night and Mother’s Day Breakfast Boxes. Astrid’s iconic Stripy Chocolatine and plant-based Brioche Bun also feature and as you would expect there are plenty more sweet treats in the making – think ice cream sundaes for when the mercury rises …

Inside the Atelier working ovens enclosed via an oversized chefs counter take centre stage and is where all the action happens. Here a live rotation of all Astrid goodies are freshly baked and sold throughout the day complete with Astrid’s own larder staples such as Ultra Luxe Granola and packs of Milk Chocolate Chip & Rye Cookies

Able to seat 20 people both inside and out, 12 bar stools bordering the window lined frontage are an ideal spot to pause and witness the chefs at work whilst enjoying a coffee, soft drink or even a glass of wine. Meanwhile on the pavement beyond, in signature Astrid style, tables and chairs are made available all year around.

A boutique bakery with a big mindset, Charlotte has great plans for Astrid and the opening of the Atelier is just the start of its growth. Regularly tipped as one of London’s best bakeries, Astrid is most certainly one to watch.
