Visit one of Kent’s loveliest vineyards this autumn to celebrate the grape harvest and enjoy local food and wine at one of the many special events that are now available to book.

Idyllically located in Westerham, near Sevenoaks, Squerryes are offering wonderful new food and wine experiences this autumn for their visitors to take part in and enjoy.

Their AA Rosette award-winning restaurant is at the heart of the Estate high up on the North Downs at the gateway to the Garden of England.

Dedicated to sustainable dining and seasonal dishes, the Chef draws on livestock reared on the Estate and produce foraged from its woodlands and fields together with local produce from suppliers within 30 miles of the Estate.

Autumn Events

Squerryes with Friends 21 September 2023
The first in a series of collaborative events will see guest chefs visiting Squerryes to celebrate local and sustainable cuisine from some of Kent’s best restaurants. These new collaborative evenings will take place in The Winery Restaurant. A five-course tasting menu will be paired with Squerryes vintage sparkling wines as well as still wines chosen by Squerryes resident Master of Wine. Sankey’s in Tunbridge Wells will be amongst the guest restaurants taking part in this event.

Squerryes Oyster Festival on Saturday 11 October 2023
Come along to Squerryes and enjoy delicious fresh plump Kent oysters on the terrace. Choose your perfect accompaniment from the bar whether that’s a glass of vintage Squerryes Blanc de Blancs or a perfectly chilled beer to celebrate the famous native mollusc.

The UK Truffle Festival – Saturday 11 November 2023
Squerryes will be at Plumpton Racecourse serving truffle infused food.
We’re packing up the kitchen and are sending our chefs to Plumpton to cook some truffle-inspired, estate-foraged dishes using seasonal and local produce from the Squerryes Estate and surrounding area. Tickets are available to come and join us there.

Autumn and Winter Tutored Tastings
Vineyard tastings don’t stop as we approach the end of the growing season. This autumn you can enjoy learning about Squerryes wines with a tutored tasting accompanied by a cheese and charcuterie board from the comfort of the Cellar Door. This event will see our ambassadors take you on a journey to learn about the 300-year-old Squerryes Estate while you taste three of the vineyard’s signature wines.

Squerryes Membership
Squerryes offers a limited number of memberships each year. Members are required to purchase two cases of wine annually and will receive special invitations to attend the member only events including ‘The Harvest Picking Party’ on 22 October 2023 which sees members don their wellies, pick up their secateurs to help pick the grapes, and toast the next vintage!

The Estate Deli offers a superb choice of wines and local produce as well as wine tasting flights.
