UK fintech Azimo, the leading European digital money transfer service, today announced that it has been added to the Sunday Times Hiscox Tech Track 100, joining a list of the UK’s fastest-growing tech firms. This is the second year that Azimo has appeared on the list and it is ranked at #62.

The annual league table – now in its 19th year – ranks the 100 private British tech companies with the fastest-growing sales. Azimo states it has generated top line growth of over 100% year over year. The list is compiled by Fast Track and published in The Sunday Times each September.

Since our launch seven years ago, Azimo has become one of the world’s leading fintech firms. We reached profitability in the second quarter of this year, with over a million customers, and will shortly expand into Asia.

Azimo has handled more than $2bn in transfers by its global customers since 2012, and has seen the volume of transfers increase by 60% year-on-year. It currently enables money transfers in 80 currencies to more than 200 countries and territories.
