BRIO RETIREMENT LIVING OPENS ITS DOORS TO VISITORS IN AN AUGUST WEEKEND-OF-WELCOME

Brio Retirement Living is set to open its doors in an August weekend-of-welcome at its Button House development in the pretty London suburb of Hackbridge. To be hosted on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th August – its team of later living experts will be welcoming visitors, alongside their family and friends, to look around one of the area’s most vibrant later living communities.

The two-day event will give visitors a chance to look around the collection of 80 stylish apartments – comprising a range of beautiful one- and two-bedroom homes all suitably designed for those over the age of 65. Three stylish new show homes will also be available to view in the two-bedroomed ‘Mackintosh’ and ‘Regency’ homes and 1 bedroom ‘Varsity’. The Brio team will also be on hand to explain more about the reserve-by-September packages worth up to £15,000*

Each home at Button House comes with a private and spacious balcony, plus a range of exciting onsite facilities including a fitness studio, the exclusive Slate & Grain brasserie, bar and coffee lounge, a community hub and more.

Retired headteacher Ian Jones, 73, who moved into Button House last year shared that he “couldn’t be happier”. Moving to be closer to his daughter and grandchildren, Ian explained: “From the off I just had a lovely feeling about Button House. The team here are fabulous, the other residents very welcoming and the facilities ideal for my needs. I live with Parkinson’s, so I use the onsite gym every day which makes a world of difference to me physically and mentally – it’s a breath of fresh air!

“I’m very fortunate in that I can see my wonderful grandchildren in their school playground from my balcony” explains Ian. “I get daily waves whilst they’re playing out and they often come and visit me before and after school too. We enjoy hot chocolates together and they love coming to visit the Button House team as much as visiting me! I’m also fortunate that I’ve got two bedrooms so they can come and stay with me too. The development is so family friendly and my life really is superb.”

Brio has made the stunning homes available to all, with options on offer including rent, part buy/part rent or to buy as Brio Sales and Marketing Manager Jess Nicoll, explains: “Button House is a fabulous place to enjoy modern retirement as it should be, and what better place to do that than the pretty South London suburb of Hackbridge.

“We want to open our doors not just to showcase what’s on offer, but to also give people considering a move into a new home for their retirement a chance to look around during a weekend where they can be joined by family or friends. We have listened to customers, have made homes here accessible and affordable, and offer a range of options including rental, purchase or part rent/part buy. We can’t wait to welcome everyone to our open weekend and it’s a great way to ensure residents are happy from the very start of their retirement journey.”

Visitors are encouraged to bring friends and family along on the day to share in the experience, and can simply book their chosen slot online at www.brioretirement.co.uk/openweekend/ or via phone on 0208 773 2838. Visitors will be welcomed by the friendly, professional team at Button House and provided with refreshments as they experience and hear all about the homes and array of facilities on offer. Additionally, for those who require it, an assisted living provision means that those living at Button House can benefit from Brio’s relationship with a trusted care provider – offering a discreet personalised care package if required.

Jess concludes: “The well-thought-out provision of amenities that provide a safe and secure environment in which they can live life to the full, is really important to us and our residents. This is an inclusive community which provides so much to ensure a happy and fulfilled retirement.”

Visitors can also enjoy exploring the great location at Button House with the pretty open green space of Beddington Park, where the River Wandle runs through, just a short walk away. The development also benefits from a doctor’s surgery, pharmacy and dentist adjacent to Button House, with a Lidl supermarket opposite and a Sainsbury’s supermarket only a few minutes away. A couple of miles up the road is neighbouring Sutton which has two indoor shopping centres, a bustling high street, Sutton’s library, and all the main supermarkets. It’s also home to the renowned Royal Marsden Hospital and a satellite of the Moorfields Eye Hospital.

For those who love getting into the city – the centre of London is only 25 minutes away by train – with the station just a two minute walk from Button House, and if travelling abroad, Gatwick is a convenient 17 miles away.

Brio Retirement Living is offering visitors dedicated time slots from 10am – 12 noon, 12pm – 2pm or 2pm to 4pm, leaving plenty of time to explore what the beautiful area of Hackbridge has to offer too.
