Bringing back a touch of seasonal sparkle, the beloved Hogwarts in the Snow feature and Dinner in the Great Hall returns to Warner Bros. Studio Tour London, inviting fans to experience the spellbinding winter transformation from 14th November 2026 to 17th January 2027.
The Great Hall will be beautifully adorned in its traditional festive dress, lined with towering Christmas trees, decorated with baubles and ornaments, topped with flying witches and the iconic seasonal feast will cover the Hogwarts house tables. Visitors can also enjoy a close-up demonstration of the giant Christmas puddings as they burst into flames before their eyes.
Visitors can enjoy a new scene for 2026, set in the iconic Great Hall, where Harry and Ron’s game of Wizard’s Chess unfolds before they bid farewell to Hermione as she leaves to spend Christmas at home.
Fans can explore how Hagrid was brought to life through a demonstration of the animatronic head used in the films, set beside the snowy scene where he hauls a huge Christmas tree across the Hogwarts grounds and into the castle, showcasing the remarkable craftsmanship behind the magic.
Visitors are encouraged to step up and learn part of the Yule Ball waltz, that fans are introduced to in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, where Professor McGonagall teaches the dance to Gryffindors. Taking place by the Defence Against the Dark Arts classroom, this interactive moment invites visitors to embrace the scene themselves, guided through the elegant dance and bringing a touch of the Hogwarts tradition to life.
The Backlot Stage will transform into a new festive foley demonstration, revealing how the sounds of winter in the wizarding world were created, exploring how the effects were enhanced in post production and how sound artists carefully crafted the noise of crunching snow, fire crackling and ice forming to bring magical moments to life on-screen.
The Studio Tour Backlot, home to Mr Weasley’s Ford Anglia and Hagrid’s motorbike, will be showcased for the first time ever against a Hogwarts in the Snow themed backdrop, creating the perfect photo opportunity.
Warm mulled drinks await in the brand-new Bubbles in the Backlot area which launched earlier in the year, offering visitors a toasty festive pause to indulge among the magic. Alongside a variety of exclusive menu choices available throughout the Studio Tour, including for the first time ever a yule-tide Hogwarts in the Snow Afternoon Tea at The Hogwarts Table.
Fan-favourite sets including the Gryffindor common room, Diagon Alley and the Forbidden Forest will have a festive makeover for the season, equipped with filmmaking snow, homemade Christmas cards and decorations. The breathtaking Hogwarts castle model will once again be blanketed in snow, created using the same techniques used by filmmakers during production and visitors can take a closer look at how these wintery effects were achieved and get hands-on at the snow station. Returning visitors may remember a beloved Studio Tour tradition, a hidden snowman tucked somewhere within the Hogwarts castle model. Fans are once again advised to keep their eyes peeled as they wander past, they might just spot the snowman bringing a touch of festive mischief to the set.
Celebrate the season with the unforgettable evening event Dinner in the Great Hall, where guests are welcomed with drinks and canapés before taking their seats for a three-course meal in the enchanted set, ahead of exploring the Studio Tour after hours. Throughout the evening, guests will enjoy a signature cocktail or mocktail outside the Potions classroom. Guests will also receive a range of magical extras, including Butterbeer, green screen experiences and a photo snow globe take home souvenir.
